Bruce Pont has been involved in professional sound for over thirty years.
Bruce started his career at the “Saltmine Trust” a charity working around the UK and Europe as their Live sound engineer for their band and theatre company.
Over the course of three and a half years he gained experience of all facets of sound engineering, from small band events to international tours, for band and theatre company.
During these years he worked alongside great companies such as Wigwam and SSE, helping setup and run Large international conferences.
After leaving Saltmine Trust, he became a freelance engineer working with several bands and various companies,(Wigwam,SSE,B&H Sound) He was then awarded a contract with National Power to run their AV needs at the main Training/conference centre at Borehamwood for a year.
Bruce then took a small hiatus of seven and a half years! to become chief engineer and studio manager at ICC studios.
Since Then Bruce has been a very busy freelance engineer, he has gained a reputation as a ”safe pair of hands”, trustworthy, client friendly, and a diligent nature, a gentleman under pressure and generally an all-round nice chap.
